This policy explains how Phoebe Lambourne ("I", "me", "my") collects and uses your personal information when you visit phoebelambourne.com, buy prints, or join my mailing list.
Who I am I am Phoebe Lambourne, a sole trader. I am the data controller for the information described here. Contact: plambourne.art@gmail.com.
What I collect
When you order: name, email, delivery and billing address, phone number (if provided), and order details.
When you join my mailing list: your email address (and name, if you give it).
When you contact me: your name, email and the contents of your message.
When you browse: technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.
Payment details are handled by Squarespace Payments. I never see or store your full card details.
How I use it
To process and deliver your order and respond to enquiries (contract and legitimate interests).
To send news about new prints and offers, only if you have signed up (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
To understand how the website is used and improve it (legitimate interests, or consent where cookies require it).
Who I share it with I only share data with services needed to run the shop: Squarespace (website and checkout), Squarespace Payments, shipping carriers, e.g. Royal Mail, Mailchimp, and my accountant if needed. I do not sell your data. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, and where that happens they should use appropriate safeguards for transfers.
How long I keep it Order and accounting records are kept for 6 years to meet tax requirements. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry emails are kept for 12 months unless they lead to an order.
Your rights Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to its use, or ask for it to be transferred. Email plambourne.art@gmail.com and I will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
